to give a shoutout to my girl shannon. miss aspiring sports journalist took part in her first professional interview today... with phil motherfucking hughes! i no doubt would have peed myself or vomited on his shoes or something, but she managed to survive and i'm sure did a fantastic job. i could die of proudness.

    i think i was more nervous b/c we did the group interview thing than i would have been one-on-one with him, but either way i was definitely trembling. i'm very proud that i did not in fact throw up or faint or jump in his lap.

    but seriously, guuuuuuuuh phil! he's wonderfully sweet and engaging.

  • the group thing would have given me an anxiety attack for sure. but that shit gets easier after the first few times and one day you'll work in the redhead question into all your interviews no problem! ;D

    i also forgot to mention how cool it was to see you'd met a girl PP intern!
