  1) he was probably hungover
  2) maybe he spent all his energy on the balcony and had nothing left for the game
  3) He's really not as good as people seem to think
  4) he could not tell if Juney was wearing green or black? This wrecked his concentration
  5)His ears were waxy hence throwing his equilibrium off

• i happened to be wearing black, and he did look right at me just before his first pitch, when I happened to be watching the goings-on through my fingers. Perhaps this was not optimally confidence-inspiring.
